Siri Datta

Siri Datta (Julie Cuddihy) Age 30 something..? (22nd December 1969 at 3.11am) Capricorn - (hard-working, reliable, loyal, honest, ambitious) Chinese Character - Rooster (show off!) Mayan Glyph - Red Solar Skywalker (I am a galactic activation portal -Enter Me!) Email - jeshoua33@aol.com The Legendary Lioness of Love At the age of 12, she glanced into the eyes of a complete stranger begging for food and money outside a church in France whilst on a family holiday. In that moment, which she can recall as if it was yesterday, she saw the most electric, most alive, and yet the tender gaze as far as she is concerned, that moment changed her life forever! Her experience with that complete stranger, became a torch of light, a reference point. It became her hope and her faith as she moved through her most turbulent teenage years. Her love of music and image catapulted her into the various genres of her day, she was a punk, a skinhead, a rockabilly, a Goth, she was everything that was going! From a fashion darling to a clubbing legend, she lived through the very best that London had to offer throughout the 90's.

She tasted the beginnings of the dance culture and outdoors raves, she made clothes for The Prodigy and Bjork, and hung out at their wild parties. Yet even at this warp speed pace of life, that image, those eyes were a benchmark, which held her back when the darkness came too close. In 1996, life threw a few curve balls, and all that was perfect and "special" in her life, crashed all around her. She entered a twilight zone, with only that Divine memory in her heart. She prayed and reflected as she moved through a traumatic, yet liberating 3 years. There were challenges and obstacles, and even terrifying moments, but as a caterpillar must turn into a butterfly, so karma had it in for Julie, as she transformed into Siri Datta. Siri Datta has been teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan for over 10 years, mostly in London, Brighton and the West Country in the UK. She also teaches every year in Egypt, Malaysia and France. Because she is one of the teachers for Free Spirit Travel and Yoga Travel her holiday destinations change every year. Yogi Bhajan the last living Master of Kundalini Yoga gave her the name "Siri Datta" in 1999; it translates as "The Great Giver". In Jan 2005 she left the UK to go in search of a piece of land to open an ecstatic Community of Purity, Truth, Abundance, Love and Radiant Raw living Health. But she returned again, focused and determined to become a Master Teacher Trainer of Kundalini Yoga. She is now going through the process of becoming just, which could take up a further 3-5 years. However, she still keeps a watchful eye on opportunities to open her school and "Sacred Space".

Her Workshops cover such subjects as: Wake up and Roar! Gorgeous Goddess Retreat, Passion and Compassion, Realised Relationships, The Sacred Art of Manifestation, The Seven Deadly Sins, The 7 Days , From Chicks to Eagles, Sex in the City, Dissolving Past Relationships and The Sex Magic of Isis. There is always a strong focus on empowerment, liberation, nutrition and extreme health by use of cleansing fasts and purification techniques. Siri Datta is a Raw Living Foodist and promotes that lifestyle with an abundant vigour! She is currently working on a fun documentary of the astonishing changes that happens when you begin a raw food diet, with Power Hour, truthful reflection and focussed determination on change with a daily yoga practise. It's called Mini Size Me. She adores Women and teaches with such passion to transform all women back into living and active Goddesses. Rich with the knowledge of the energy that they hold, whilst passionately loving and pro-active in the world to bring about balance and unity. 2003 her first book was launched worldwide by Harper Collins called "Open your heart with Kundalini Yoga".

Amrit

When our physical, mental and spiritual life is aligned we have the best chance to live on the path of our destiny. I have always, therefore, sought practices and disciplines that offer the best way to keep aligned and therefore grateful and fully open to all that life is offering. I am a practitioner of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Shiatsu which I have been practising for the last twenty years. In 1991 I came across Kundalini yoga and meditation as taught by Yogi Bhajan and realized I had found what for me is the most direct, self sustaining and profound healing tradition. I have been a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 1996 and a teacher trainer since 2001. Karam Kriya (applied numerology) as taught by Shiv Charan Singh has shown me the connections between all aspects of my life and offers itself as a tool for transformation that informs me in my practice in general and in my role as a consultant in particular. I work as the head therapist for the Guru Ram Das Project, a charity set up to share the Sikh dharma, yogic teachings and holistic therapies with those in need. Much of my present work is in drug rehabilitation.
