A specialist posture class for Kundalini Yoga students, exploring the checkpoints for the basic asanas and how a properly supported posture enables us to have a deeper experience in kriya. We will increase our awareness of how to use the bandhas (the internal locks) to support asana.

Join on the night of the Full Moon as we prepare ourselves for the next 28 -day Lunar cycle. With at least 11 participants, we will take turns leading a call and answer chant, and then responding. This "Healing ring of the Tantra" has been given by Yogi Bhajan to heal, cleanse and strengthen the individual so that he or she may grow and prosper according to their individual destiny. We will then follow with a powerful Gong bath using four planet Gongs The Sun, Pluto, Moon and Uranus, maximizing the magnificence of this final moon of the year and calming the spirit, energizing the soul, & uplifting our Hearts to an attitude of gratitude, love & Compassion, as we leave this year fulfilled & awakened to our own personal Truth. The 5 rhythms are flowing, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness. We move with these rhythms in sequence which is called a Wave. The 5 rhythms are a structured yet free style form of movement expression routed in the body, connecting the heart and stilling the mind. There are no steps to learn, only the freedom and discipline to follow the articulation of our own body as it feels each rhythm, helping us to become more fluid, inspired and grounded in the dance. This class 'wave" is the first level of the 5 rhythms work and is open to all levels and experience, no dance background is needed. Emma has been teaching since 2001 and dancing the 5 rhythms since 1991. Emma teaches with passion and sensitivity and humour, she has a down to earth attitude which comes from her work with marginalised and vulnerable communities (prisons and Kidscompany) that keep her feet firmly on the ground! Emma reaches out to a diverse range of people which adds to her depth and incite as a teacher.

Having a sensitive perception to this hidden matrix improves our ability to see, feel and hear the background story of our own and others lives. The numbers in our personal life (e.g. our birth date) are messages from the soul. It is one way the soul offers its guidance. Awakening to number awareness is to live with a sense of destiny and direction; otherwise we are like prisoners kidnapped by the illusionary play of time and space. This is a weekend to begin or continue the study of life through numbers and the study of numbers in life.
