Beginners Yoga can be booked as an individual class, or you can sign up for a 4 week course at a discount. The aim is to make your integration into a class run smoothly, gifting you with familiarity and confidence in your practice. During this course we will look at what's "expected" and what's "not expected" of the student. A number of yogic concepts will be explored to prepare you for deeper enquiry into a whole new world within.

The body and breath are the vehicles through which this exploration will take place. Emphasis will be placed on bringing intentionality and awareness into movement and breath: the importance does not lie in the struggle to achieve the posture but how the posture is approached. The next stage is to take all this off the mat and into daily life.

Chakras are energy centres, which absorb life force or prana from the Universe and is distributed through the nadis, energy channels to the nervous system, endocrinal glands and circular system.

In these two workshops we will focus on the 7 Chakras. The first three Chakras are known as the lower triangle and the Chakras 5,6 and 7 are known as the upper triangle. The 4th Chakra, the heart Chakra, is the balance between them, where the shift happens from me to we, from individual to universal. On the Saturday we will do the first four chakras followed by the last three on the Sunday.

The lower triangular Chakras focus on elimination and are balanced by the upper triangular Chakras which accumulate, create and refine. By opening and balancing the Chakras it is possible to connect to a larger source of energy, from which we come and to which we return.

The aim of these workshops is to unblock and balance the 7 Chakras within ourselves in order to release and channel our positive energies. All workshops will consist of warm up exercises, a set of kriyas (specific exercises for each Chakra), deep relaxation, mediation and mantras.

Samarpan Meditation is a practice which unites us with Universal Energy. With a pure wish you will experience the awakening of Kundalini Energy. This is the part of the Divine that is in each one of us, which connects us with our awakened Divine energy within. relaxation (meditation).

Together we explore fluid sequences of movements such as the 'sun salutation', together with standing and sitting postures.
This four week course is suitable for absolute beginners and also for those who want to return to the basics in order to revisit the foundation of their practice and understanding.

The course will be taught by Rachel, a passionate, inspirational and intuitive yoga teacher. She draws from her studies in the
Hatha, Vinyasa and Astanga yoga systems and delights in sharing the power and magic of this sacred practice.
No experience necessary!

A two hour workshop looking how low self esteem and bad boundaries affect every aspect of our lives and our communication with others, be they family, friends, children, work colleagues and our lover. We will expand the aura, building self esteem and grounding the soul in the body. Kundalini Yoga is a fantastic tool for building self esteem and boundaries. There are so many tools, meditations, pranayamas and postures that we can use to expand our sense of self and how we project that out into the world. Come prepared to do Kundalini yoga and meditation, no previous experience necessary and all levels are welcome.
