Mars has been super efficient in Virgo since last November. Now we begin to feel a slowdown in energy and motivation. Better to concentrate on what we already have on our plate and to do it well, than to try to push for any new projects at this stage. Prioritize. Attend to detail. Make perfect. By April the thrusters will be back to full power.

Due to a very long retrograde period that begins in January 2012, Mars is about to spend 8 months in the sign of Virgo. Much can be achieved during this phase as Virgo is linked with the planting and harvesting cycle and knows that each season has its place and time in the grand scheme of things.

Mercury Retrograde is one of the most infamous phases in Astrology.
Mercury, the planet of communication and mental alertness goes ‘out of sync’ three times a year for a period of roughly 3 weeks. When Mercury turns retrograde (appears to be traveling backwards from our perspective on Earth) things can get a little unpredictable.
