‘The Infinite Heart’ is the latest CD from the remarkable artist and expert in the art of sacred sound, Ashana. Her deeply healing music is played frequently in the Alchemy Cafe as well as in many of our classes. I personally find her work truly exceptional, drawing together influences from all traditions but belonging to none. The way in which the angelic tones of her voice merge with the sound of the crystal bowls and instruments she plays is utterly captivating and suggests the way in which the human may merge with the soul. Her music instantly brings me back into the heart, whatever that may mean in the moment, either feeling uplifted or allowing me connect deeply to my vulnerability.

It is about accepting all of us, every single part of us, the darkest parts of ourselves, the most loving and exalted parts of ourselves, the inspired parts of ourselves, the parts of ourselves that are afraid and suffering and extending a mercuiful, benevolent, compassionate love for every single iota, every single cell and atom, every single thought form. Extending the energy of love to embrace all of it, all of us. For me that was the experience in learning what divine feminine energies are, the experience of being completely and totally embraced in love”
