Towards the Winter Solstice

The Sun passes from the Zodiac sign of Scorpio into Sagittarius on Tuesday 22November and this marks the official beginning of Winter.

On the approach to the Winter Solstice we can begin to see the faint glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. But before we celebrate the rebirth of the Sun, the darkest days of the year still require some serious introspection.

Sagittarius is the wise Sage and Healer. The North Node of the World is passing through Sagittarius and clearly showing us where surgery, both preventative and invasive needs to be performed to maintain a healthy global body.

With eclispes delivering their messages loud and clear, the old scout motto ‘be prepared’ comes to mind. With eclipses, we cannot predict what is coming, but we can clear some space and get ready to take on the challenge. To react is impulsive, to respond is empowered.

Mercury is also going to be retrograde in Sagittarius for most of the month, but we should be clear for the holidays – a cause for celebration.
