Bhaktivedanta Manor, 29th November 2011
Today I saw the opening of a unique garden dedicated to the memory of George Harrison, who died 10 years ago this day.
The garden is the fruit of a sensitive collaboration between the Hare Krishna people at Bhaktivedanta Manor in Hertfordshire and George Harrison’s family. George gave the Manor to the Krishna people in 1973. (more…)

It’s eclipse season again with the signs of Sagittarius and Gemini in the spotlight. A chess game is playing out across the skies. Strategy requires forethought and a view of the big plan. 2011 has been a year of astounding politics and Sagittarius has an affinity with global governance, democracy and fairness.
As eclipses bring sudden change, watch the news at this time for secrets revealed and uturns in policy. On a personal level, it’s time to judge for yourself whether you seeing things clearly and what you are basing your beliefs upon. Challenge everything.

Dear HuffPost Friends,
I’ve been asked to write something about meditation today. A question was, “Why do I meditate?” I practice Transcendental Meditation as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Before I started TM, I looked into many different kinds of meditation, and something about each of them said they weren’t for me. When I heard about Transcendental Meditation from my sister who had started, I liked what she told me in relation to all the other forms I had looked into. And as I’ve said, I’d heard a change in my sister’s voice. I heard more happiness and more self-assuredness. And I said, “I want this Transcendental Meditation.”

The Sun passes from the Zodiac sign of Scorpio into Sagittarius on Tuesday 22November and this marks the official beginning of Winter.

Jupiter captures rocks from the astroid belt that could be heading towards Earth and sweeps them away into space. The sheer expanse and powerful field of Jupiter are reflected well in the sign of Sagittarius. Travel and education come under this rulership – anything that expands the mind. (more…)

Due to a very long retrograde period that begins in January 2012, Mars is about to spend 8 months in the sign of Virgo. Much can be achieved during this phase as Virgo is linked with the planting and harvesting cycle and knows that each season has its place and time in the grand scheme of things.
Virgo has often been associated with Auset (Isis) and the Virgin Mary. The gestation element to this sign cannot overlooked or rushed and will bring ripe fruits all in good time. What are we birthing?
