Getting healthy with fresh smoothies by Frank Arrigazzi

My intention today is to share with you two of my favourite smoothies to help you thrive throughout your day and inspire you to get more and more into fresh and living foods.

Smoothies are very easy to prepare, and can provide us within just one glass, a great deal of fresh and easily absorbable nutrients, which will help us to maintain and propel the natural function of different body systems. Enjoy!

Re-building

A Re-building smoothie will include the following ingredients:

1 Banana
A handful of Blackberries
3 ounces of Spinach
Half avocado
Two tea spoons of “Purple Balance Raw Powder”
2 cups of almond or oats milk

Add a sweetener (optional)
*If you want to have a much sweeter touch in your smoothie I suggest you to use honey or stevia.

Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Blend at a slow speed for the first 30 seconds and higher speed for the last 10 seconds. Serve and drink!

Detoxifying

1 banana
1 apple
3 ounces of spinach
Alfalfa sprouts
1 rib of celery
2 cups of spring water
*A table spoon of chia seed and pumpkin seeds
Add a sweetener (optional)
*If you want to have a much sweeter touch in your smoothie I suggest you to use honey or stevia.

*Soak for 1 hour before using the seeds. This process will remove the “enzyme inhibitors” from the seeds allowing the nutrients to be easily absorbable.

Add the chia seeds (this seed will become gelatine) and pumpkin seeds to blender (clean the water that come from the soaking process) with two glasses of spring water. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend at a low speed for 40 to 60 seconds and increase speed for the last 10 seconds.

Serve and drink!
