This Yoga Basics Workshop is open to ALL levels of experience, aimed at those who may be new to the physical practice, or those wanting to gain an over view of the profound teachings of yoga whilst also experiencing a long, deep, and profound physical practice.

Initially we will be covering the full range of yoga; touching on; philosophy, chanting, the chakra system, raja yoga (yogic psychology), meditation, breath work (pranayama); the truly holistic and all embracing nature of yoga. We will keep it simple but touch on the depth of yoga. Yoga IS Life and impacts everything, from the way we inhabit our bodies, how we connect within our communities and how we walk on this Earth.

We will be practicing some of the most powerful of the yoga postures and students will receive detailed, yet simple instruction on the psycho-emotional and spiritual aspects of the postures and the practice. Finally students will have an opportunity to experience deep yogic relaxation through the practice of Yoga Nidra and meditation. This completely integrates the practice and you will be left feeling like a beginner again; knowing nothing, joyfully taking each step as it comes.
